WHO: ALL GRADUATING SENIORS IN SMES CLASS OF 2025
WHEN: SAT, JUNE 7, 2025 FROM 10:00PM-2:30AM
SENIORS WILL JOIN THEIR FAMILIES FOR DINNER AFTER THE GRADUATION CEREMONY AND MEET BACK AT SMES STUDENT LOT FOR CHECK-IN STARTING AT 10:00PM .
BUSES WILL LEAVE AT 10:15PM. PLEASE BE ON TIME. THE BUSES WILL NOT WAIT IF YOU ARE LATE!
STUDENTS SHOULD WEAR CASUAL CLOTHES. THEY CAN BRING THEIR PHONE AND A SWEATSHIRT. NO BAGS, WATER BOTTLES, FOOD OR BEVERAGES ALLOWED. A CLEAR BAG WILL BE PROVIDED BEFORE THEY BOARD THE BUS.
COST: $350 PER STUDENT
WE ARE LOOKING FOR EVENT UNDERWRITERS TO HELP SPONSOR THIS EVENT TO MAKE IT AFFORDABLE FOR EVERY SENIOR. PLEASE CONSIDER CONTRIBUTING IN ADDITION TO THE REGISTRATION FEE.

As promised, here is your next email regarding Grad Nite! There is a bit of information in the email, we recommend flagging and/or saving this email for future reference.
Underwriters Needed for Grad Nite 2025!!
We are still seeking to raise $5,000 for Grad Nite for our Seniors. We want to thank the 13 families who have already generously donated to Grad Nite. All donations will go towards making this night the most fun possible for our seniors! Thank you all in advance for your consideration and generosity! Timeline for Graduation
Grad Nite will take place on Saturday, June 7th after graduation. Graduation will be from 6pm-7:30pm on Chalmers Field. Most families stick around following the ceremony to take pictures for a good 20-30 minutes. It’s a beautiful scene, we highly encourage taking lots of photos with family and friends.
Timeline for Grad Nite
10pm-2:30am
We are asking students to be back by the student parking lot, by Wendi’s @ 10pm to board the buses. This gives everyone approximately 2 hours to gather for dinner or desserts following the graduation ceremony.
Students will begin boarding the buses @ 10pm and buses will depart the parking lot between 10:15-10:25pm. The buses will not wait for anyone running late.
The buses will return to the same parking lot at 2:30am. All students must be dropped off by a parent and picked up by a parent, no cars are to be left in the parking lot overnight.
Dining Suggestions for Graduation Day
Our graduates will need to be on campus for graduation at approximately 3:30pm on Saturday, June 7th for the 6pm ceremony. Many families have suggested having a nice dinner on Friday night following Baccalaureate or a nice lunch preceding graduation on Saturday afternoon to avoid feeling rushed after graduation. If you stay and take pictures til 8pm following the graduation ceremony you and your family will have 2 hours to enjoy dinner and/or dessert before getting your senior back for Grad Nite. We recommend staying close to SMES, dining in San Juan Capistrano, Dana Point, South Laguna Beach etc.
Ticket Sales for Grad Nite 2025
Tickets will go on sale for Grad Nite 2025 on Monday, March 3rd. We are working hard to keep our ticket price the same if not lower than it was last year. Please reach out with any questions on the ticket price, we do not want the price to be a deterrent for any student, we want all 102 of our seniors to attend this wonderful event!
